| Preparation | All surfaces must be clean, dry and free from dirt, dust, grease, wax, or loose and flaky paint. Wash and rinse surfaces thoroughly, ensuring they are fully dry before painting, with a maximum moisture content of 15%. All existing mould and mildew must be completely eradicated prior to painting. For commercial buildings and educational institutions, adhere to all relevant guidelines for mould removal. When dry sanding, always wear an appropriate face mask to prevent dust inhalation. Stains and resinous knots should be sealed with Blockade. Before applying Blockade over stained sections, endeavour to remove as much of the stain as possible through washing, sanding, or scraping and ensure surface is completely dry. |
| Application | A two coat system. Before use, shake or stir thoroughly. DURO can be applied using a synthetic bristle brush, roller, pad applicator. For airless spraying, employ a 0.04mm tip and medium pressure. Apply only when both ambient air and surface temperatures are between 10° and 32°C, and humidity levels are below 80%. No thinning required due to FLOW&BOND technology. . |

| Drying time | Touch dry in 30 minutes. Apply 2nd coat after 2 hours. Full curing takes 5 to 7 days. If applied above tiles in a shower, allow at least 24 hours before using the shower. Avoid scrubbing or cleaning the newly applied coating for 7 days. Do not use using any bleach based cleaners. |
